About Us

Tracy Moore, Preaching Minister

Tracy is the main contributor here on The Bible Peel and is grateful you are here. He came to the faith at an early age and made a decision to follow Jesus at a Bible Camp in Alabama, where he would soon after be baptized. He has been in ministry for over 25 years now, and has served congregations all the way from Alabama to Tennessee, and now Florida. Currently, he serves as the Preaching Minister at the Vero Beach Church of Christ (verobeach.church).

He is passionate about understanding God’s book left to humankind. You could say that is part of the motivation behind this website. The more he learns the more he is amazed by its depths.  It was not intended to be merely skimmed along the surface, but to dive into a world filled with color and delight.  The purpose of this blog is simply to peel back some of the many layers we find within.

Tracy has been married for over 25 years and has 4 wonderful children who he loves dearly. Another crucial thing to know about him is that he is a huge Elvis Presley fan. He used to travel to Graceland once a year, and if their last child would have been a boy, Tracy’s wife was going to let him name his son Elvis. Yeah, it’s that bad.

Now, crack open your Bible and read along as we make it through this profound, mystical, and life-altering book. Let’s peel back the first layer. . .

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. . .”

Payton served as a Campus Minister and Connections Minister in Oklahoma before joining Vero Beach Church as the Associate/Young Life Minister. Payton is a leader in the local non-profit, Youth for Christ, and is continually building relationships between church and community. Currently he is learning how to play the piano. He’s owned one for several years, but just recently decided to actually learn to play it.
